On Friday 4th August we had a lovely meet up in Wharton Park where, in a slight change to programme, we had an afternoon sharing poems which we liked, mainly from childhood or which evoked good memories. It was a lovely afternoon and we met in the Cafe as weather was a little wet on the day.
Next month we are meeting on Friday 1st September at 1pm at Durham Botanic Gardens. We hope weather will be a little better this month as the gardens are beautiful to explore. New members always welcome.
