A Warm and Inspiring Start to 2026 – Buddy Cups January Meeting

9th January saw the first Buddy Cups North East meeting of 2026. On a cold afternoon we had a lovely warm welcome, as always, at The Neighbourhood Cafe in Hotel Indigo, Durham. We had a last minute change to our programme and instead of the expected talk we had an Art activity inspired by positive words and led by Sue. Some ladies shared a few special words or poems then we got down to the actual art bit. Everyone had a fabulous time and really entered into the spirit of a positive outlook for the new year. Some of the art and poetic words are attached. We hope to be able to continue to Uplift, Inspire and Be in 2026. Our next meeting is on Friday 6th February at 1pm and the theme is Hearts of Glass which will be led by our own Gill Curgenven and Claire Varley. We look forward to welcoming you.
